If October was exciting, November was really amazing! Why? No, it wasn't for the colder and rainy days, not even for the roasted chestnuts or the delicious autumn oven meals.
First, Paulo Silva on November 9th took part at OWASP Lisboa Chapter meetup in a talk named “OWASP API TOP10 from attackers’ perspective”.

November was also the month of BSidesLisbon from 10th to 11th November and we have a special affection for this conference. At BSides we revisited some friends, we care about, we catched up with what they were doing, we shared experiences and ate lots of "pastéis de nata" (custard tarts). Also we attended very interesting talks, for example how to “Hacking my own heart” by Marie Moe or “Hacking with hardware”, another interesting talk by Pedro Umbelino.
Last but not least, from 15th to November 17th we were at Cyber & Cloud Expo at Alfândega Porto Congress Centre, with our COO David Sopas in a Round Table on the theme “The person. The weakest link?” sharing some ideas for a better and safer society.
Here in Char49 we love community-driven events where we can not only share our knowledge and experience, but also learn from others. While we’re all waiting for 2023, you may find our articles about the OWASP API Security Top 10 interesting. If you’re looking for a special christmas gift for your team, check our training offer.
